All the Christmas feels and DIY present ideas

Saturday, 6 December 2014
This year I'll actually be on a plane on Christmas day so won't enjoy the usual roast, crappy TV and excessive family time. In the meantime I have plans to make my uni room as christmassy as possible; I'm talking a mini tree with lil decorations, a banner, advent calendar and a diffuser that will make my room smell like a combination of Santa's grotto/a swiss chalet/fresh gingerbread/frankincense and myrrh.
This is kind of like a Christmas inspo board? Ideas for baked goods, DIY presents, decorating, dream snowy destinations- or as the title aptly sums it up, a post so i can feel 'all the Christmas feels'.
Baking is always a fail safe. This recipe for chocolate-dipped gingerbread marshmallows and molten chocolate and salted caramel tarts would 100% be ideal to open on christmas morning and could easily be achieved on a small bugdet. I'm also eager to try this mint brownie and no-bake vanilla cake batter chocolate truffle recipe.
Cat from Take Courage posted about this DIY snow globe last year on her blog and it would make a perfect gift. This fawn from Cox & Cox would make a cool ornament for the inside if you're not into the London theme, and you could always add something specific to the gift reciever for a personal touch.
*couldn't find the two original sources*. If you have a small apartment or need a last minute christmas centre piece you could find a mini fake or real tree and plant it in a vintage tin or old jar. Also cool for a uni room or office desk.
Happy holidays everyone

A massive Christmas gift guide

Thursday, 27 November 2014
I've done these a couple times over the years and they're always one of my favourite posts to read through. This is mainly directed at the females in your life (or as majority of you are girls, to put on your own wish lists) but I've included some things for the boys too. All the items are for a range of budgets so could still just serve as inspiration as you're strapped for cash. I've got another post coming up of the best DIYS/homemade presents/experiences if you fall into that category too (aka all students out there).

As its the elusive 'Black friday weekend' that the UK has appeared to taken on from our oversea pals, I've left a click through list of the best discounts that are beginning today. Time to get the christmas shopping done!

Seven AW14 Polyvore looks

Tuesday, 28 October 2014

A mix of night and a day times that I would ideally wear if I had a generous budget. Liverpool is actually quite mild right now but I've heard that won't last for long..

Last day in London

Tuesday, 23 September 2014
Just a short post- I'm almost half way through freshers here in Liverpool but I forgot to post these pics from my last day mooching around central London. Life has been so crazy and packed full so it feels weird looking back at this now even though it was just last week.

Bag: Vintage, Top: Acne, Coat, Jeans: Topshop
Making the last of the summer so went for Franco Manca then Kaff with two friends. I got back from Reading recently which was SO awesome, we volunteered so got a free ticket and just had so much fun. Now I'm just preparing for uni and thinking what an amazing gap year I've had.. I was thinking of maybe doing an advice post on taking a gap year, touching on work, travel, dealing with friends at uni, indecision etc if anyone would be interested?

AW14 Moodboard

Friday, 15 August 2014
AW14 Moodboard... aka a LOT of black clothing and leather. If you're thinking 'umm excuse me its still August', well yes, you'd be correct but if I have to wear a jumper/jeans combo every time I go out with an umbrella permanently fixed to my hand then I'm allowed to make a winter clothing mood board. Majority of these images have just been selected from my tumblr so sorry about the lack of sources.
PS. I had to include Matty because I'm seeing him again next week and I'm so in love with the entire album and him

Summer disposables

Friday, 1 August 2014
I haven't blogged in a month- whats new. Honestly kudos to full time bloggers. I have 0 motivation to blog or share anything on the internet so I can't even imagine having to do it like seven times a week! Anyway, when summer rolls around I always have a disposable in my pocket and thought I'd share some of my (and my friends) snaps.
The Shard. Would make a pretty sweet apartment view.
During one of the most intense thunderstorms I've ever seen in Times Square, NYC.
BellĂsimo Venice.

The next pictures are from my time in Lisbon/Cascais in Portugal. Me and my gal pals went to Optimus Alive which was so awesome. Highlights music wise include Arctic Monkeys, the 1975, Imagine Dragons and Foster The People... also camping was so fun (and I HATE camping) but I honestly had the best time and I would 100% recommend the festival. We rented a apartment via AirBNB for a week after and had lots more lols. I wish I could go back.
I hope everyone is having a fun summer :-)
