*a year in da blog*
I think this year is definitely the best I've ever had. Happy new year everyone, and thank you for all the comments, emails, tweets and niceness I get from you guys (cringe, but I mean it), have an amazing year!
(coat; topshop, scarf; warehouse, t-shirt; zara, jeans; topshop, loafers; russell and bromley)
I went to the best store today, aka Anthropologie in Kings road. I was just buying some christmas presents because I'm really behind and stuck on what to buy my brothers and mum (WTF do they want apart from socks and bath stuff) and it has the coolest rugs and clothes and decorations and kitchen shiz ever, its how I want my future apaartment to be. They also had really nice earrings..
The dress of my dreams (Rebecca Taylor £260 or something). Normally I would say Chung wore it better, but I'm kinda feeling Kirsten Dunsts version with the dicker boots and LV bag. I would wear it like my polyvore set though, its a nice enough pattern to do more layering with so I would chuck in more cardigans and scarves. Whats your favourite version?
Even though everyday I moan about the weather its safe to say I LOVE CHRISTMAS AND THE COLD. Cant wait till I buy our tree, put fairy lights up, buy Christmas yankee candles, bake all the time, the inevitable SNOW and watching Christmas movies all day everyday. Weird start to the week when i couldn't walk for two days then went to hospital but its all good now, I even got new shoes. And you know its a good week when you buy new shoes.
My favourite store in the winter (Topshop). In the summer, it just fails majorly, does anyone else agree? So looking forward to selling some stuff on ebay soon and making some cash so I can go shopping. Or you know, I could finally get a job sometime soon.....
This is a little different to what I normally post, but I recently got sent some all organic (yay) products from Garden Apothecary and honestly they smell so good and uhhh it feels really nice putting the products on your face. I got the the rose refresher, the aphrodisiac refresher and rose & salt bath tea and the botanical bath powders and they're actually really well priced (definitely perfect for christmas). But anyway, I was casually in Hobbycraft getting photography stuff and bought a soap making kit thing aka just the weird olive oil soap blocks, violet perfume and a little bag of dried flowers.
They are so ugly, I love them. You basically melt the olive wierd block soap stuff (I'm sure they have a proper name but I'm too lazy to go find out) and add your perfume and dried flowers. I added some of the bath powders from Garden Apothecary too and it smelt really good. Then pour into moulds and let it set in the freezer and BAM cheap cute homemade soaps. Again, really good christmas presents. I hope my friends (who I bet are reading this) expect soap because that's all they're getting ;) I'm obvs the coolest sixteen year old around making soap lulz
Makeup post, It seemed to be a little bit requested. I don't know too much, but I'm a bit of a brand whore, but most were gifts anyway. These products seem to work for me anyway, this is my main collection really.

Yesterday shopping.. Got some things and also tried on this boyfriend coat from topshop, a checked version of the navy one I posted about last week. Isn't it so beautiful!?!?! I've already got three coats though, I don't need another one (definitely had to chant this to myself to stop from buying it though). Most shoppers were getting halloween outfits which is exciting, I'm having a party (woohoo) but still don't know what to wear, probably end up as something generic. Bought a couple of things too though, including diptyque jardin clos, a topshop hat and bag
I love diptyque perfumes. Especially the candles also but alas they are quite £££ and I've run out of £££. Even more so after this weekend. oh yeah- I'M GOING TO ARCTIC MONKEYS ON SUNDAY *FAN GIRL MOMENT*
VOGUE ITALIA August 2001 'RENDEZ-VOUS' Tim Walker
The perfect editorial to describe London right now. I've been wearing my duffle but I'm kinda falling in love with this Boyfriend Coat from Topshop but I have absolutely no money spare at the moment its almost laughable. Got some really good weekends coming up though, how exciting... :) Have a nice week guiz
"In my next life I want to live my life backwards. You start out dead and get that out of the way. Then you wake up in an old people’s home feeling better every day. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, and then when you start work, you get a gold watch and a party on your first day. You work for 40 years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You party, drink alcohol, and are generally promiscuous, then you are ready for high school. You then go to primary school, you become a kid, you play. You have no responsibilities, you become a baby until you are born. And then you spend your last 9 months floating in luxurious spa-like conditions with central heating and room service on tap, larger quarters every day and then Voila! You finish off as an orgasm!"- Woody Allen
Um, I want her body/face now. Shot in her hometown, love the colours and her just generally being her gorgeous self. Ps. I'm back from Florence and will post my pictures soon because it really was so amazingly beautiful
In love with topshops nightwear at the moment, it all seems too pretty to wear to sleep. Maybe i should think about replacing my holey t-shirt.. In other riveting news, I'm silly tired and the week has only began. I'm going to florence next wednesday (since when?! IKR) on a photography trip but other than that life is same-y same-y. How is everyone else?
Having a lazy sunday catching up on LFW and watching some shows live, wasn't too impressed by NY but londons looking good. Went to the Teatum Jones spring/summer 2012 presentation at the RSA on friday, it was so beautiful. The presentation included a set with a chandelier and white wooden windows while the models playfully teeted around, styled with 20's makeup. The clothes themselves were flawless, a perfect balance of silk and structure, with the most hazy spring colours, lilacs blues and dusty pinks. Watch their S/S12 video here, you'll fall in love.
Um, remember me? Hi. Sorry. I started sixth form on monday, and I love my classes (photography, literature, media, history ftw), my teachers and the people, even though it was kinda scary going from an all girls school to an all boys school...
Needed to update my portfolio so grabbed Lucy and we cycled to a field and I took some pics. A very small selection of clothes on my behalf as I could fit barely anything in my rucksack, so styling was very improvised. Anyway, thought I'd post some.
What do you guys think?
I used my canon 550d, location somewhere near Westerham
(playsuit; topshop, jumper; bik bok)
Am I wearing this playsuit with a jumper again? Yes. Its too perfect for these wierd summer/winter days london is having, and you get the best of both worlds with this combination.
